ZK Advertising is behind this campaign with a dynamic concept of aspiration told through an array of heavy post production tools to produce this compelling film. Jeremy solicited the expertise of American based post production house, Radium & Simon Mowbray, to ensure that the complex building of backgrounds was believable and seamless as a football star in the making realizes his dreams. Jeremy was adamant that the actual storytelling would not get lost in the special effects and complex technical issues when shooting a commercial like this. The end result is a beautiful piece where the traditional storytelling and postproduction merge without doing effects for effects sake or overpowering the film.

Jeremy was then back on the road on an amazing journey through the rainforests of Mpumulanga & Limpopo in South Africa and to the harbour & markets of Mozambique, to bring you the beautiful story of saving a baby chimp from being smuggled out of the country. This universal story crosses breathtaking terrains and cumulates in a heart-warming ending that Mitsubishi & The Old Shanghai Firecracker Factory are proud to present. The campaign covered their four high performance vehicles where precision-racing drivers put the endurance and performance of the vehicles to the test. In true Jeremy fashion, the beauty of the story was his focus adding his playfulness with daring stunts and high-speed car chases.

AUTISM SA "TIM"

<div style="width:480px; On and Off road the Outlander also proved itself to be extremely versatile.
I have always been crazy about fast cars and lots of horsepower.I started Motor Racing in the mid 70's and has won 3 SA Saloon Car Championships. I have been a member of the Firestone Racing team for 7 years during which time he notched up many Race wins Driving a series of BMW's.
I am only man to have won the Castrol 6 and 9 hour Races 7 times and has raced against top International drivers. My interests in Film work started in the late 1980's when I became involved in the making of some of the very early Vehicle Commercials in SA. The famous 'Roof Top' Continental Tyres Commercial is still spoken of today and I went into full time Car, Motorcycle and truck commercials in 1988.
I have recently completed his 1004 th Vehicle appearance whether it be Stunt, Precision, a good street chase or simply driving to a story board.
I now own CRC and have trained many young drivers, male and female, to learn the art of Vehicle filming. Its something I enjoy and certainly beats the daily traffic'

FEELINGOOD

It’s the middle of the year once again and as we race to make our magic before we squeeze what’s left out of 2008,we would like to take a moment to breathe, as Jeremy Goodall of Feelgoodfilms is excited to present what’s been keeping him busy till now.

With a series of shoots that have brought the Goodall’s back to the Cape for some autumn filming, including a spot for Samsung Mobile that featured Chelsea football star Didier Drogba. In true Jeremy fashion he has once again excelled in what he now does as second nature, handling crowd duplication & the massive software. Shooting with a team from Korea they managed to craft the film to life and get it onto TV screens throughout Africa in record time.

Second in line was the Blue Ice commercial for L’Oreal Paris for this new South African Product. Jeremy then took on a tricky film for Nigerian Compass, the leading Nigerian newspaper, with a swarm of 3Dimensional golden discs (compasses) set against the amazing backdrop of a black & white film. Shot in the highly textured nooks & crannies of Salt River & Woodstock, the look is undoubtedly downtown Lagos.

Riske’ stunts & high-speed car chases were the order of the day with Jeremy doing a spot for Mars Delight where a Ford Mustang is being pursued by the cops through downtown Cape Town. This high-energy film will certainly get the juices flowing.

Jeremy has also contributed to the VUKA awards with this beautiful spot for Autism SA, illustrating that autistic kids can still take part in everyday life and that a little understanding goes a long way. With the use of 2D animation and motion capture Jeremy has done an excellent job dovetailing these to worlds.

In between all this high energy action Jeremy has been busy with a gem that has been in the pipeline for some time. The re-branding of CELTEL to the Middle Eastern Cellular provider ZAIN is the film of the year; with this post intensive film of a story of a boy that realizes his dreams, watch this space and our sites for the launch of this gorgeous campaigns well as emotional Mitsubishi chimp rescue campaign sure to bring a tear to your eye.

Mitsubishi "Save The Chimp" TVC

Jeremy Goodall, Director of the Mitsubishi "Rescue" TVC has this technical comentry to say"I must say that shooting with the four Mitsubishi vehicles across the difficult terrain we encountered was an absolute pleasure। At one stage when shooting in Maputo I took the fuse out of the ABS braking system in of the Outlander, in order to slide the vehicle. We then took the vehicle onto a stretch of beach where we battled against the setting sun and very soft sand. The vehicle got stuck and sank, into the thick sand. We desperately searched for the correct fuse as the mechanic was on the mainland. We found the correct slot and of course got the shot. I took the Lancer to high speed shooting in the tight bends of the tar section of the rain forests. The Mitsubishi Triton handled immaculately on the off road section of the shoot, especially being put through the tough off-road rally type of driving that was essential to the look I wanted to create for the commercial. Its ability to remain balanced during high-speed skids at the bush meat market combined with the specialized equipment allowed for seamless stability to get the shots I needed. I used an Arri 435 with a Panavision short Primo Lens that was mounted on a 3.3m R1 arm and attached to the vehicle allowing the camera to move with the vehicle creating a definite look as well as allowing me the latitude of shooting the car at 6FPS giving me the sharp focus on the vehicle and the fast movement of the background. I was able to continue with this technique with the bonnet beam & door mount that was also attached to the cars, allowing me to get the speed & effect I needed. This was in contrast to the look that I got from the Mega mount remote head that was mounted on a crane & traveling on a tracking vehicle. I could control the camera from inside the tracking vehicle as I tracked along the roads giving me a floating action that allowed me a lot of maneuverability around the car, creating a visually appealing look that I wanted. I used Kodak Vision 500 as I was shooting in low light conditions with high contrast and heavy shadows.
